We are just 7 miles from Wakefield city centre and on the boundary of Huddersfield and Barnsley. B&B Rooms

Guests have access to their own spacious sitting/dining room where you'll find a selection of reading material, including information on the local area which you are welcome to browse. Dogs are not welcome in the house, but facilities are available outside under cover. Please ask for details when booking.

All our tastefully decorated and fully equipped rooms are recently refurbished and all have full en-suite facilities. Guests can choose from single, double, twin or family rooms. Those with laptops can also access the internet in all rooms. View examples of our rooms.

Home Cooked Food

Our extensive Breakfast Menu offers a choice of cooked Full English or lighter Continental breakfast. Packed lunches are also available at reasonable rates. We can serve evening meals on request, or a selection of pubs and restaurants are within easy reach, just a short walk or drive from the farm.

Local Attractions

Upper Midgley Farm is situated close to the renowned Yorkshire Sculpture Park currently hosting 'Skyscraping', by Pettican, Lewis and Mojsiewisc, as well as permanent work by Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore. The National Coal Mining Museum for England, Nostell Priory with its unique collection of Chippendale furniture and Pugneys Country Park are all a short drive away.
